How does this happen?
Because MyImpactPage.com can hold a profile for you related to different organizations you are associated with, sometimes users end up with a profile for more than one organization. If this happens to you, here’s how you can combine the two.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Doing this will still mean that only you can see all the organizations you belong to. - the system does not let the organizations you are associate with know of your relationship to your other organizations.
Steps to merge two existing profiles in Better Impact
Log on toMyImpactpage.com with the username you wish to keep
Click on the MY PROFILE tab
Click on the “Merge Profile” section
Enter the username and password of the new profile you would like to merge into your existing one (i.e. the one with which you have logged in)
Click the [Get Profile] button
Continue following the steps to merge your profiles.
Retrieve Missing Login Details (if necessary):
Use the 'I forgot my username' option to receive an email listing all usernames registered under your email address.
Once you have the usernames, use the 'I forgot my password' option to reset passwords as necessary.
Understanding the "New Profile":
The profile being merged into the main account is referred to as the "new profile." Ensure that this profile holds relevant data you wish to retain.
NOTE: You cannot merge duplicate profiles that exist within the same organization. To merge the profiles, ask your organization to remove one of profiles from their account.
